Description
The Township of Minden Hills will develop a comprehensive Asset Management Policy and implement an asset management and capital planning software modules for more accurate reporting, forecasting and long-term planning on its assets including but not limited to: structures and bridges, signs, roadways, fleet and equipment, water and waste water. Once the initiative is completed, the Township will fulfill provincial requirements.The initiative will lead to a more concrete understanding of staff roles and responsibilities and integrated software systems that will produce reporting on water/waste water, road, fleet and structure assets used to complete an O.Reg 588 compliant AMP. This new capacity will ensure that the Township is building an effective asset management program that will assist with making better informed infrastructure investment decisions.
