Description
The Rural Municipality of Frenchman Butte No. 501 (RM) intends to contract a consultant to establish a Long Term Strategic Plan for the RM which identifies the priorities of the RM which includes Asset Management. The plan will establish time lines, leadership and initial policies by which the Asset Management Plan will be completed. Upon completion of the strategic plan a leader/champion and committee will be established to arrange for training of council members and staff. This training will be used to further refine the policies by which the Asset Management Plan will be completed and trained employees will complete further training with in-house staff. After committee is established and policies are defined, the RM will purchase suitable Asset Management software such as Municipal Data Works and proceed to hire or contract a Civil Engineer Technologist to assist with TCA data transfer and the assessment of assets to determine current conditions
