Description
The Rural Municipality of Fertile Belt No. 183 has previously completed a condition assessment, determined its current level of service, and conducted a long-range (20-year) life cycle analysis. This determined its infrastructure sustainability plan, level of service targets, and maintenance and capital program strategyneeded to deliver that plan. The RM will expand its asset management system functionality by implementing a database to house its current and on-going condition assessments, level of service analysis, and manage the resulting program strategy. In addition, the RM will expand on its asset management system functionality with GIS (spatial) functionality to manage its assets through a mapping environment. The RM will further enhance its asset management operations and administrative support. Applied training will be provided to build the practice of Asset Management within a routine management framework
