Description
Squamish-Lillooet Regional District will tackle the development of a high-level Corporate Asset Management Plan (CAMP). The Regional District’s existing asset register will be analyzed and updated. The existing asset register currently has an estimated 90% of data needed on asset installation dates. Missing age data will be estimated to use an age-inferred analysis to estimate the condition of service assets. The Regional District will analyze missing installation dates, replacement costs, and estimations of remaining useful life. This will enable the Regional District to then develop the asset age profiles and renewal information by service areas and electoral area. Next, a risk and criticality analysis will be performed by developing asset criticality criteria and flagging critical assets. This will feed into a risk-basedcondition assessment and overview per service area and electoral area. Finally, the Regional District will develop a risk-based needs forecast to help prioritize and smooth timing of asset renewal.
