Description
The Rural Municipality of Armstrong’s goal is to extend the useful life of its current municipal assets. The services these assets provide are critical to rate-payers. This project specifically includes the municipality setting up a framework for its asset management plan, strategy, and roadmap. As asset management is a continuous process, this project will improve the Municipality’s asset management over time. This will help:• Create a policy, strategy, and plan for asset management;• Centralize the location of asset data;• Train staff on basic asset management principles.
