Description
The Rural Municipality of Britannia No. 502 will complete a Long-Term Strategic Plan and identify priorities including the management of municipal assets and develop an Asset Management Plan. The Asset Management Plan will establish timelines, leadership, and initial policies. Upon completion of the Strategic Plan, a leader/champion and committee will be established to arrange for training of council members and staff. This training will further refine the policies by which the Asset Management Plan will be completed. Trained employees will complete further in-house training of staff. The Municipality will also complete inventory, collect video data, and determine current asset conditionsfor assets throughout the municipality. The condition data will be an integral in efforts to determine priorities as part of developing the Asset Management Plan.
