Description
The Town of Erin will complete sensor-based surface condition data collection to achieve a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) or Sidewalk Condition Index (SCI). PCI is required for paved roads by Reg 588/17 -AMP for Municipal Infrastructure.- Sensors include 3D and 360 cameras- Data is processed using machine learning, artificial intelligence and human based quality control.- Streetlogix software is customized with municipality’s own maintenance and repair preferences and costs- Software algorithms include PCI/SCI, road classification, depreciation and cost/benefit analysis to generate maintenance suggestions and repair prioritizations and allow for budgeting, planning and asset management analysis.
