Description
The Village of Chipman project will establish a formal Asset Management Plan through this project. The
Village will develop a Council policy, a complete asset inventory, condition and risk assessment, a highlevel
climate vulnerability assessment, and a long-term financial plan. The Village will review all municipal
assets to estimate remaining life and current replacement costs. Council will deliver an Asset Management
Policy workshop with the consulting team to identify priority services and municipal goals, and develop
policy objectives to align with strategic priorities. This plan will provide the Village with the information and
policies needed in order for the Village to manage assets for long term financial sustainability and future
climate change vulnerabilities and meet the community vision.
