Description
The Town of Arnprior plan to improve its asset mangement practices through the development of acustomized corporate asset management policy that is suitable for the current state of asset managementwithin the Town and also lays out the framework needed to grow the asset management program.Implementation of new asset management software to address a growing asset base and need foradditional management. Software implementation in the Town will allow streamlining of asset information,further alignment with the LRCF, annual budgets, and TCA reporting resulting in increased accuracy ofdata and a decrease in expenditures due to unforeseen asset failure. The Town of Arnprior's AssetManagement Program will continue to include linear assets such as water, sewer and storm sewer mains,roads and sidewalks as well as point assets including buildings, machinery and equipment. The Town ofArnprior will continue to strive towards separating pooled assets to achieve increased accuracy and morerefined funding models.
