Description
The Town of Gibbons is moving towards an innovative Asset Management system. The Town will scan and digitise its asset files; an added benefit is addressing the risk associated with having one perishable copy of the Town property data. By linking digitized files to the GIS property and infrastructure map, key information becomes accessible at the touch of a button, and accessible from anywhere. Putting the infrastructure and systems into place to ensure that under challenging conditions you can operate and access the information you need when you need it, is essential to the Town sustainability and growth. This Asset Management system will have its pertinent asset data on more than one media and it will provide timely information to staff and Council in making long term decisions on the upcoming infrastructure needs of a growing sustainable community.
