Description
The Town of Gore Bay will hire a consultant to assist with the development of Policies & Procedures toaugment the current Town’s Asset Management Plan (AMP), so that it can better guide the Town throughthe asset management process. The town will use software and link its AMP to its financial information,thereby properly tracking its assets to allow better planning and the development of long term financialplans for asset replacement. As well, the town plan to conduct a water & sewer Rate Study, complete aroads optimization report, update its AMP and, finally, will train staff and council/committee members toensure the Town is equipped to manage the AMP on an ongoing and future basis. The town is hoping topartner with other municipalities to share in the costs of hiring a consultant.
