Description
The Township of Mapleton will update its Asset Management Plan and develop a Strategic Asset Management Policy. The work plan’s intent is to ensure a comprehensive plan and polices that adhere to the regulations set forth under the Infrastructure for Jobs and Prosperity Act, the Province’s 2012 Guide for Municipal Asset Management Plans, and the Federal Gas Tax Agreement. The project will include consultation with Council and staff to define criticality of core infrastructure assets (namely roads, bridges, water, wastewater and storm infrastructure), current Township asset intervention criteria, and levels of service analysis to develop a preferred Lifecycle Management Strategy and subsequent Financing Strategy, and document policies.
