Description
The Riverport Electric Light Commission will implement a three phase Asset Management initiative.Phase 1 (Asset Register compilation for fixed Infrastructure Assets) includes creating an Asset Registerfor fixed infrastructure assets (including the electrical poles, transformers and distribution lines) using aGIS (Geographical Information System). Phase 2 (Asset Prioritization) includes prioritizing the AssetRegister in terms of consequence of failure and probability of failure. Phase 3 (Development of Capitaland Operational Strategies and Policy) includes the development of Operational and Capital Strategies aswell as the development of an Asset Management Policy.
