Description
The objective of this study is to engage community stakeholders and align their actions towards a common sustainabilitygoal that will avoid detrimental impacts on the ecological integrity of the Bow Valley. The Town of Canmore and theCanmore Economic Development Authority (CEDA) will engage the Biosphere Institute and The Natural Step Canada(TNS) to coordinate the project. The Natural Step Canada will be engaged to coordinate training sessions, facilitatebaseline analysis of sustainability aspects and prepare a sustainable action plan. This integrated and holistic approach tocommunity sustainability will include the creation of an e-learning module for the community and a case study on theoutcome of the planning project, which will provide direct linkages to potential Green Municipal Fund projects.
