Description
The Town of Nackawic will establish a formal Asset Management Plan. The Town will develop a Council
policy, a complete asset inventory, condition and risk assessment, a high-level climate vulnerability
assessment, and a long-term financial plan. The Town will review all municipal assets to estimate remaining
life and current replacement cost. Town Council will work with a Consultant to identify priority services and
municipal goals and develop policy objectives to align with strategic priorities. All municipal assets will be
covered including, municipal facilities, protective services assets, roads, streets and side walks, recreation
facilities, boat launch, water and wastewater systems, vehicles, and equipment. This plan will provide the
Town with the information and policy needed in order for the Town to manage assets for long-term financial
sustainability and future climate change and meet the community vision.
