Description
This study will examine the feasibility of constructing storm water detention facilities to manage runoff into MarshallCreek. The creek is a fish-bearing stream in the eastern part of Abbotsford, which drains 3,800 hectares of land. Stormdetention facilities would help to reduce pollutants and address water quality issues. They would also manage thevolume and flow of the creek and prevent erosion along the creek corridor. The study will investigate the engineering andenvironmental parameters affecting the construction of these storm detention and/or water quality facilities.
