Description
The District of Highlands will collect surface road condition data on 46 km of roads. The District will develop a Pavement Management System, which will optimize the annual road maintenance/upgrade expenditures in a sustainable way. The District will maintain pavement condition and maintenance information in an asset management database linked to the District's GIS system. The District will develop a Long-Term Financial Plan, which integrates a series of recommendations that arose from the 2018 Asset management Plan, approved by Council in 2018. Asset Management training for District staff will follow.
