Description
The Corporation of The Town of Kirkland Lake is actively working to develop an Asset Management Plan (AMP) that will greatly benefit each department within the Corporation. A first step for the roads department is to collect data for the new AMP software to generate cost/benefit analysis and repair prioritization for the road system, which will assist with budgeting, planning and asset management analysis.The Town will be collecting data with 360-degree optical 3D cameras to automatically assess the road conditions, sidewalk conditions and capture data on other assets such as road signage. The Town will also take the opportunity to train key stakeholders in asset management processes to build and improve other internal procedures.
