Description
"The Town of Morris is currently in an exploration phase to establish an asset management program in order
to better understand the needs of the town and explore ways to effectively maintain assets and deliver
services over the long term. This initiative will include completing a comprehensive infrastructure
assessment through an approach that is based on the sound technical, social and economic principles that
take into consideration the present and future needs of users, and the service provided by each individual
asset. This approach will thus explore the driving factors behind the pursuit of change and evaluate service
delivery objectives according to those factors. The ultimate goal of this work will be to inform good decision making by understanding services and service needs in the community, and by making sure that future
investments are made in the right places, demonstrating good management and stewardship of municipal
infrastructure for future generations."
