Description
The County of Forty Mile No. 8 will hire a consultant to assist in achieving the following:• Conduct a basic GIS inventory of sanitary, water, storm and road infrastructure using existing sources of information;• Develop an Asset Replacement Forecast to estimate roads, water, sanitary and storm capital infrastructure replacement cost estimates, and timing;• Update the 3 to 5 year Asset Management Strategy facilitated by a consultant workshop;• Conduct a Joint Council Education session with Foremost and Bow Island to increase their understanding, importance, benefits, and concepts of Asset Management;• Increase knowledge of the GIS and Asset Management best practices;• Identify software needs and options.
