Description
The Township of Lanark Highlands will evaluate innovative technologies and alternate servicing standards for watersupply and sewage treatment in Lanark Village. The village has water–quality problems, and a water distribution andsanitary sewage system has been identified as a priority in the Township's strategic plan. By focusing on innovativetechnologies, this feasibility study will fulfill the objective of the strategic plan and demonstrate solutions for other smallvillages faced with similar challenges. The selection of the appropriate technology will take place through a process thatensures a unique community–driven approach to technology selection.
