Description
In 2019, the Town of New Tecumseth developed a Strategic Asset Management Policy and road map that ties into the Strategic Plan of the Town. The Town is in the process of implementing a Work Order and Asset Management solution that will help it to meet the O.Reg 588/17. A Governance, Communication and Asset Hierarchy has been developed by the Asset Management department. The Town hopes to use this project to develop a Corporate and Service Area Asset Management Plan for core infrastructure (Transportation, Water, Wastewater and Stormwater), develop asset strategies like risks, levels of service, asset information and conduct training on asset management.
