Description
In the Asset Inventory Improvement Project, the District of Kent’s will further develop its existing asset inventory records through data collection and condition assessments. The project will focus on improving areas of asset groups whose records exhibit inconsistencies, errors or data gaps. This project will move the District one step closer to being able to complete an Asset Management Plan to assist in long term financial and infrastructure replacement planning. In the GIS Connection portion of this project, the District of Kent will create a connection between its asset management software and GIS software. This will allow District staff to visually interpret the distribution and condition of public infrastructure assets.
