Description
The Village of Port Clements will compile an inventory of the water, sewer, drainage and road assets using available and relevant digital and paper records. Assets that are tied to a specific location will be compiled in a Geographic Information System (GIS) database. This asset inventory will be useful for supporting ongoing decision-making. Primary sources of information will include; available digital and scanned paper records drawings, survey and GPS records, and condition inspection reports. During the project, the Village of Port Clements will have the compiled information loaded into a web-based GIS application that will enable the consultant team and Village employees to collaborate, and subsequently allow the Village to populate remaining data gaps and refer to source information.
