Description
The Village of Borden will create and maintain an asset management program for long term development. The goal is to perform asset condition reporting through the Village to record all assets and that the collected data is accurate. The Village will utilize the PubWorks program to validate current data and will continue to attend Asset Management training events. Once initial asset data has been created, various office and maintenance staff will be assigned to continue updating information such as maintenance/repairs, purchase/sales of equipment etc. This will not only ensure assets are kept up to date moving forward but will assist administration and council with budgeting/forecasting and future capital planning. The Village islooking to impact road structures, underground infrastructure, equipment and municipal buildings alike.
