Description
The City of New Westminster will develop the first revision of an Asset Management Plan (AMP) for itsSanitary & Drainage assets. This project includes reviewing current practices, determining state of infrastructure, (the start of) defining levels of service, recognizing risks, developing long-term financial strategies, and identifying opportunities for improvements. Additionally, the development of the AMP will be reviewed through a climate change lens. Ultimately, the AMP will provide a logical process regarding how the City provides the service, thefinancial implications, and the tasks required to improve the system overtime. This project will also present a learning opportunity for City staff.
