Description
Uxbridge will undertake an Energy Conservation Study to assess installing state–of–the–art systems to replace thecurrent electrical and mechanical systems operating its swimming pool complex. The Uxbridge Arena also consumesexcessive energy. This study will suggest ways to operate both the arena and swimming pool in a more energy efficientmanner, which will promote energy efficiency within the community. Possible solutions include installing of highefficiency lighting systems, using solar heating and cooling techniques, putting in building management systems andreducing water use. These improvements will reduce energy and costs for the municipality.
