Description
The Town of Ponoka will conduct an assessment for approximately 65 kilometres of municipal road network infrastructure. The scope of the assessment includes surface and roughness inspections and analysis. The Town will acquire asset management software and will provide related training to its employees. The Town will generate cost estimates for proposed upgrades, set up the geographic Information system (GIS) and integrate road network data, and will update a 10-year capital plan that includes the identification and costing for maintenance and repair requirements.The enhanced municipal infrastructure data and updated plan will guide the implementation of asset management strategies and support the development of formal policies and processes.
