Description
The Township of Faraday will gather data on the condition of 114 lane km roads within its juridiction. It will use the data analysis software to determine its longer term asset management priorities for the asset class: maintenance plans, capital refurbishment / replacement plans, and ongoing condition assessment needs. It plans on using the LAS Roads Assessment Service to achieve these goals.The Township will also develop an Asset Management Planning (AMP) Model and prepare a Strategic Asset Management Policy. Updating the Township Asset Management plan, will provide an excel based asset management planning model. The AMP will be developed to reflect the most recent asset management data reflecting a time horizon of at least 10 years. Financial requirements will be identified through a road needs analysis. The Township will develop long term capital plan to reflect reporting requirements and consistency with O.Reg. 588/17. Municipal staff will also be trained to ensure they are familiar with the function of the asset management plan model.
