Description
Through this project, the City of Elliot Lake will utilize MAMP funding to perform assessments on roads and sidewalk asset classes. The City will then use the new information and state of the infrastructure report to update its current asset management plan. The City will update its current asset management policies to include both environmental stewardship and carbon reduction strategies to ensure the updated asset management plan is aligned with the long term community priorities, and that it fosters further stakeholder engagement throughout the process. The City will also participate in technical and best practice training for internal staff as well as elected officials to increase its organizational capacity to anticipate, respond and plan for all the challenges it faces when managing our assets and providing services to our community.
