Description
The Township of Southgate will complete Building Condition Assessments (BCA’s) on all municipally owned buildings. The Township will update their 2021 Asset Management Plan (AMP) to add non-core assets (buildings, vehicles, technology) using current asset data on asset condition, levels of service, climate change risks, and asset replacement costs.The Township will use the BCA data and the updated Asset Management Plan to support the content of annual Township Capital Budgets, starting with the 2022 Budget, and to develop a Medium-Term Financial Plan. Asset data will be shared with the public and Council. The Township will obtain Council's formal approval of the expanded AMP and their concurrence to use the AMP data more directly in future annual Capital Budgets.
