Description
The City will improve its transportation asset management by better understanding pavement performance of different materials through the 2017-2019 Road (Pavement) Data Collection Program. The City will collect data on noise, grip/ friction and condition performance before and after major rehabilitation along a main transportation corridor. This collected information will be generated into reports and raw data that will then be used to supplement the planning of short and long term asset management strategies related to roadway preservation, restoration and rehabilitation projects in the City’s existing pavement management system. The project will also incorporate staff training and software upgrades that will help develop the City's transportation asset management plans.
