Description
The Town of Daysland currently has GIS information, but does not have the ability to access it. Through this project, the Town will first provide staff access to get the right information to the right people to support decision-making. This involves assessing internal ability and capacity for GIS service, assessing available GIS service providers, and implementing the chosen service. The town will then effectively apply this information in the decision-making process by creating a roadmap for integration of asset management into the capital planning process. The council will be educated about asset management (AM), its role in AM and the outcomes of this project.
