Description
The Town of Thessalon will utilize MAMP funding to perform assessments on curb, gutter, and sidewalk asset classes. The Town will then use the new information and state of the infrastructure report to update the current asset management plan. The Town would also update current asset management policies to include both environmental stewardship and carbon reduction strategies to ensure the updated asset management plan is aligned with the long-term community priorities, and foster further stakeholder engagement throughout the process. In addition, the Town will implement leading asset management and capital planning software to increase analytical capability and provide Town staff tools to easily create and update long-term financial plans, asset management plans, and preventative maintenance strategies.
