"Northern Sunrise County will complete an evaluation of infrastructure that will result in an up to date
assessment of the County’s municipality's linear infrastructure (primarily roads), facilities, water and waste infrastructure, parks and playgrounds, vehicles, machinery and equipment. Additionally, with the purchase of asset management software, the County will replace the current out-of date system and optimize the purchase, deployment, maintenance, utilization, and disposal of assets to enable the County to make informed decisions. These would include bridge assets, rural road study (roads and culverts), land improvements (playground equipment, fencing, etc.) and mobile assets (vehicles, machinery and equipment). The County’s ultimate goal is to make informed asset management decisions through well-trained staff and council who understand service needs throughout the municipality, and to ensure that future investments are made appropriately demonstrating good stewardship within the County."
