Description
The Town of Lark Harbour will implement its project in three phases. Phase 1 will be creating an asset register for our fixed infrastructure assets (approx. 6.5 kilometres of water pipe, 20 hydrants, 3 kilometres of wastewater pipe, 45 manholes, 5 kilometres of roads, and 2.5 kilometres of pedestrian walkways/trails as well as approx. 15 municipal structures and lands), and utilizing using a Geographical Information System (GIS). In Phase 2, assets will be prioritized in terms of consequence of failure and probability of failure and critical asset will be identified. Phase 3 will focus on the high priority assets (identified in Phase 2) and capital and operational strategies and policies will be developed.
