Description
The town of Mahone Bay will capture, verify, assess and report on its electric power distribution networksas well as all of its buildings and facilities. The town will capture its electrical power distribution network inGIS, based on a template that is compatible with the Nova Scotia Provincial standard developed under thedata collection pilot project. Buildings and recreational facilities will be captured using a spreadsheet. Thetown will report on the life expectancy, condition and replacement costs of the buildings/facilities as well asthe linear assets. All data will be imported in a spreadsheet-based template and Preliminary State ofInfrastructure Reports will be generated for each asset group. Deliverables will include a spreadsheet thatcan be refined and capable of generating various scenarios. Communications products will be developedincorporating the information in the Preliminary State of Infrastructure Reports, promoting project outcomesand benefits to the public.
