Description
The Township of Limerick will contract LAS Road Assessment Service to conduct a condition assessment of 35 lane km of roads using 3D photoimaging technology. Once the data is obtained, it is loaded into a web-based GIS data management that will process and visualize the environment design for the surface condition monitoring. The interface will enables decision-makers to formulate optimum strategies to maintain and improve its roadways over a given time period including repair suggestions, prioritization, and longterm planning.The Township will also develop an updated Asset Management Plan to meet the requirements of O.Reg 588/17. The plan will incorporate the findings of the roads assessment and provide analysis on all other Township assets. The plan will be supported by an Excel-based financial model and a Strategic Asset Management Policy.
