Description
The Municipality of Central Huron will hire a contracted staff member to collect data on municipal assets for each department’s assets and input this information into a centralized database. The individual will work with department managers to collect the data. Currently, the location, condition and other pertinent information is unknown or held within each individual department (Roads, Facilities, and Water and Sewer). The primary focus of the data collection will be on mapping assets via a Geographic Information System (GIS) and recording data that can only be obtained via visual inspection (manufacturer, manufacture date, condition, etc.).
