Description
The Village of Lipton will implement an Asset Management policy. The Village will focus primarily on improving its organizational competencies in the areas of: policy and governance; people and leadership; and data and information. The Village will establish an asset management committee, develop an asset management policy, and introduce other basic governance tools. This Village will inspect and assess the village's’s most critical assets including the water treatment facility, the waste-water management system, and the primary access transportation assets, specifically main access roads into Lipton. The inspection activity for these asset classes will provide the data and information foundation for the Village’s asset management initiative. Other community assets such as recreation facilities, secondary road access, and sidewalks are beyond the scope of this project and will be addressed in subsequent asset management projects,
