Description

In this project, the City of Spruce Grove will collect inventory data, develop inspection templates, collect condition data and build the lifecycle plan for its Facilities assets. This will produce an asset register in the City’s central AM system complete with nameplate attributes, dates and criticality. Critical assets in the Facility portfolio are those with a very high impact to service delivery, operational disruptions and safety.The City operates 31 Facilities of which only 2 have a developed asset hierarchy. The other facilities contain incomplete asset registers. The Facilities in the portfolio serve a multitude of service types, including administration, recreation, protective services, RCMP and community services. Priority will be given to: City Hall, Protective Services, RCMP, Gymnastic Athletic Center, Public Works, Library and Community and Social Development buildings. The Facilities assets that will be part of the scope of this project include: HVAC - Boilers, Expansion Tanks, Pumps, Roof top units providing air handling or air conditioning; Plumbing - water distribution system, water heaters, tanks and pumps.
