Description
The Town of Appleton will capture all major assets (water distribution, sewer, storm-water drainage, androad networks as well as major municipal-owned buildings and structures) in electronic format. All linearassets will be captured in GIS format. Buildings and structures will be assessed and recorded inspreadsheet format. In addition to a fully functional Desktop GIS, an easy-to-use web mapping applicationwill also be provided for the non- technical users.The Town will also generate Preliminary State of Infrastructure Reports (SOIR) on life expectancy, conditionand replacement costs of each major asset group using open-source spreadsheets.
