Description

In order to offer the residents of the Saint-Laurent borough a location for sports and recreational activities, the City of Montréal has decided to build a highly energy-efficient sports complex that will also serve as a meeting and integration centre. This green building will be one of the first sports facilities in Canada to seek LEED Canada NC 1.0 Gold certification, and its annual energy consumption is expected to be less than 64.2% of that of a reference building that respects the minimum standards of the Model National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings (MNCEB) 1997.
