Description
Dawson Creek will develop a comprehensive Environmental Development Plan to plot the efficient delivery ofengineering services. The plan will deal with water, sanitary sewer, storm water management and transportation. Thestudy will consider long-term planning to avoid a design that does not have enough capacity for future needs. The planwill also consider options for distributed and centralized services. The community is committed to including communityenergy planning concepts in the plan. This environmental planning process could become a model for many othersimilar-sized communities across the country.
