Description
In order for the Municipality of Shuniah to align itself with the upcoming Bill 6 regulation as well as beginbuilding out a sustainable and comprehensive asset management program, the Municipality willundertake the development of an asset management policy, complete a maturity assessment, and trainstaff and council on its asset management systems. The development of a holistic asset managementprogram requires gaps in the current program to be identified, staff and council understanding of assetmanagement tools, and clearly identified roles and responsibilities within the organization. This newcapacity will assist staff and management in making better informed infrastructure investment decisions.
