Description
The proposed study will evaluate the potential for heat recovery and heat dissipation to municipal sewers and identifyinnovative indirect effluent contact technologies that could be applied to such heat recovery/dissipation. The feasibilitystudy will provide a conceptual assessment of the potential for GVRD sewers to be used as heat sources and heat sinksfor residential, commercial and retail buildings. The potential benefits in terms of savings in energy costs, increasedenergy efficiency and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions will also be assessed.
