Description
The Town of Oliver is committed to the regular review and capital planning of its paved roadways. The Town of Oliver will complete a renewed condition assessment of all paved roadways. This data will now be supplied to the Town's engineering consultant so that it may be implemented into the existing Roads Asset Management Plan (circa 2015) and allow for updated long-term budgeting and planning. The Town of Oliver owns several Asset Management software tools, but currently lacks the in-house expertise to fully utilize them. the Town of Oliver will train its employees on utilizing these tools to communicate planning needs. At or near the completion of other proposed efforts, the Town will host an Asset Management workshop with the OIB and other neighbouring municipalities.
