Description
The County of Simcoe will implement CityWide Asset Manager software, conduct training and data work for the new system, and use the software to produce a set of reports on roads, bridges/culverts, facilities, and fleet. This project will create a broader understanding of effective asset planning and reporting.The implementation of asset management software will allow the County to gain an advanced understanding of its assets performance and effectively plan for future maintenance based on data driven decisions. Further, the implementation of software and subsequent data improvements and systems training will be a critical piece in continuing to advance asset data and have more involvement from staff across the organization in asset planning.
