Description
The Rural Municipality of Meadow Lake No. 588 will be purchasing 10 GPS units for the equipment that is used for the maintenance of infrastructure. This GPS equipment must be installed and the staff trained how to use it. Next the RM will be purchasing a computer program called ALI to start the tracking of inventory as it is removed from inventory and is placed on the roads, this will help with cost tracking and to help with replacement as needed. After this computer program is installed the office staff will need to be trained on it. Next an employee will be driving the roads and collecting all the GPS locations of the culverts and signs which are on the roads. Then collecting all the inventory which are on site. This information will be downloaded in the ALI computer program.
