Description
The Village of Grand Manan will develop a Capital Asset Management Plan for its infrastructure. TheVillage will review its existing infrastructure data (past projects list) and address data gaps through areview of record drawings and field data collection of airport pavements, fencing, and equipment,facilities, and municipal high-value equipment and vehicles. The Village will conduct assets conditionassessments through a combination of age-based methods and visual inspection of airport runway(pavement) and facilities. The compiled information will allow the prioritization of assets based on thelevel of service with regards to the performance of each asset as well as the creation of a capitalinvestment strategy. Finally, the gathered information will be placed in a decision-making document to befrequently referenced, revised, and updated.
